I love it
Like Gad, thought their takes on Islam were primitive. Islam didn't go through a reformation because it is centered around strong technocratic government. The House of Baghdad, the Sultans and Emirs. When these Sultans and Emirs reign because of ongoing conflict or foreign greed, it all falls apart. Trade with Venice and war with Rome, the Mongols and all that started a long descent from greatness. In essence, Islam is antidemocratic. To believe that a reformation is needed in doctrine rather than clergy is a falsehood. Not every facet of modern life has to succumb to judeo christian values. This doesn't mean allowing barbaric practices, it does mean collaborating with Islamic nations to maintain a good balance. The Kingdom of Morocco is a very good example, as is Syria, I believe. Very effective Islamic governments.
Rogan was kind of annoying in this one. He came across as too arrogant like he knows more than an evolutionary scientist and was too sarcastic
