  1. I do this, but I came to it from the hindu/yoga stuff. Patanjali's yoga sutras, like the 8 steps of ashtanga yoga. It blew my mind how logical the whole system is once I started understanding what it's doing under the hood. I grew up in a religious family and became atheist when I left home, and what I've learned is that all of the old institutional religions, all of the old bullshit that sets the stage play of the current mess the world is in, actual yoga is so far outside of that. Like to me the yoga sutras are the instruction manual for my body, like I actually know how to operate the thing now lol after decades of kinda fumbling around in the dark. It's one of the truest forms of science there is, it's just inward/personal.

  2. 45 years of practicing TM has been best thing I have done for myself. I have studied other meditation to use with my therapy clients. But I always tell them the best is TM. TM adds bandwidth to your day. It adds peace, clarity, and happiness. So easy, I’ve done it on planes, trains, and sitting in a park.
