  1. Transcendental Meditation ™ is a simple and effective meditation technique that can help you reduce anxiety, chronic stress, and burnout. Developed in the 1950s by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, TM involves quietly repeating a mantra in your head. Here’s how you can practice it:
    1. Find a Comfortable Position: Sit comfortably with your eyes closed.
    2. Receive Your Mantra: A certified TM teacher assigns you a mantra. These mantras are sounds without specific meaning to you.
    3. Silently Repeat the Mantra: Focus on silently repeating the mantra in your mind. The goal is to drive your consciousness toward the mantra.
    4. Practice Regularly: Many teachers recommend practicing TM for two 20-minute sessions daily.
Remember that TM doesn’t require intense concentration or mindfulness. It’s effortless and doesn’t involve monitoring your thoughts. If you’re interested in incorporating TM into your routine, consider learning the proper technique from a certified teacher

  2. 1:27 'without the hippy-dippy, thats the biggest part of it.' Utterly disregards the largest part of TM in one ignorant sentence. I guess he's never experienced samadhi then because if he had then the rest of his spiel would be inconsequential. Pretty sure Marharishi didnt come up with TM to give you a few extra productive hours in the afternoon.
