She was isolated, depressed and lonely whilst surrounded by the most expensive, first quality things. Gives people issues..
If I remember correctly he describes her as a Pinocchio. A puppet on strings, with no free will, always dancing to stay in her parents good graces to get that allowance that she did't know how to live without..(step a foot wrong and you're cut off. It's always thrown in your face when you need correcting.) Some kids that had a lot, suffered a lot.
