This last part is the shortest explanation to why we are facing exponential increase in invention and science. It is like a multheaded jet engine put in a feedback loop where the output of each technology rapidly improves the other. That is until AI has milked the existent data of valuable information and once again the wet lab that generates truly novel data is once again the limiting factor, albeit greatly nudged in the most promising direction by our AI helpers.
Ai will be the bosses in 1 to 2 years. Agi will be the worker robots in 2 to 3 years and singularity will be here in 8 to 10 years. Agi will make leaps in advancements that will speed up the timeline to singularity. Agi wasnt supposed to happen for 20 years some say its 18 months away. When agi gets going singularity will be here faster than anyone can predict.
So I'll probably have to end my own life in about 10 years, hey 38 years old ain't bad in these fucked up times
