Worst interviewee ever on the history of the show
So when they were talking about how our current system is destroying the planet. It got me thinking about a person's energy footprint in modern times. The most obvious is a vehicle and I did the math and it only takes 33333 miles of driving to double a person energy usage compared to just being alive. It's 200million kJ/lifetime at 65 years of life on a 2000 calorie diet and it takes roughly 33333 miles at 20 miles per gallon to equal that. the average person will use 27 times as much energy in their lifetime just from cars not counting cooking cleaning lighting ect. Not to mention how many more people there are now.
