Sober from the pills 3 years ago the Xans were a pain in the a$$. They tried me on SSRI drugs after I got Sober from the Addys and Xans and I could not take them. I’m so thankful that I have figured out a way thru Spirituality with Jesus and Exercise to beat this depression. Instead of getting worse I’m getting better each day. To anyone reading this there is hope. But remember before you go on ANY medication for everything we put in our body there is a side effect. It’s just the way things work. Think it through before making the decision to take something the rest of your life which will more than likely result in meds getting changed thru the years. I believe in medicine helping people who need it. But like you said we are not supposed to feel good all the time. That will preach right there son! Keep up the good work. RG
I took Xanax for about 19 years at age 17 I was taking 10 ton12 a day with Cocain and Beer on the weekends I went to work but I also did allot of stupid decisions. I suffered from ptsd anxiety and mayor depression I was stave 17 times at age 16. Today I bean sover for 4 years no more beer or cocaine or Xanax. Haw did I accomplish this??? GOD and the decision to stop. I still have hipper ventilation and my anxiety hits me hard and I do the breathing techniques it doesn't work like Xanax but it helps. Xanax is harder in the mind, and opioids are harder in the body one is physical and the other is mental.
