This guy has no clue what he's talking about. I take antidepressants for more than 30 years. They saved my life. I stopped taking them for 6 months and felt great until my depression came back and I had to take them again. You don't feel worse by stopping them. Taper them slowly until the last dosage and then you could feel unwell for about a week or two. Then you start feeling great again. Ask me if you want to know things about antidepressants because I have the expertise because I take them more than half of my life. This doctor only reads things about antidepressants and don't have the experience at first hand.
People completely underestimate simple things like: good sleep, diet and exercise.
I've never been on a drug from a doctor, and I haven't seen one for 7 years or had a check up in about 15.
Phenibut is another one. I wouldnt wish those withdrawals on my worst enemy.
What Joe misses here is that many people who don’t exercise, don’t exercise because they physical can’t. They have injuries and disabilities… that’s when the drugs become the solution.
