Sounds weird but i believe the guy…u ever seen videos of those monks taking kicks in the nuts and not feeling anything
This guy is way too eager to explain away tested and verified biology. Hes like 1/4 medical doctor, 1/2 salesman, and 1/4 personal life coach. I love that he tries to give a scientific explanation : Your nervous system blocks the heat from dispering through your body. Think about that for 2 seconds and you can realize how stupid that is. What exactly transfers the heat? Your blood? Cause if that happened that quickly it would kill you. You nervous system? I would love to see how well nerves conduct heat, please tell me all about that. And to try and say it works the same for physical force? How is someone like this still able to make ridiculous, untested, unverified claims and not lose his medical license? Jesus what a load of absolute bullshit and I wish Joe had completely shut him down.
You have to be really careful not to fall into the all too easy trap of “I’m healthy and smart and I have this specific state of consciousness..” someone suffering with a serious condition will often call BS
Thanks for calling bullshit. Love how he can respectfully hear others' perspective, but also challenge things that don't sit right with him, which in this case was because he feared it could be dangerous.
Are we forgetting that some peolle actually have some sort of weird fetish to pain? This might be way left field but it makes sense in my head.
If someone can turn pain into pleasure then I think its safe to say you can do the same without having that fetish or without being hypnotized.
