Zen just blew my mind. Because of a movie I seen as a child I just assumed that Cain was in his mid 30's. Never crossed my mind that he could have been a teen.
In a college theology class I took, we covered the OT when God says to kill every man woman and child. At the time, I had to write a paper on it, and I spoke of my biblical Old Testament God who was tough in showing judgment but how He would never support genocide. My conclusion was that Abraham (or whichever saint it was about, as I don’t remember) was the one stating this, not God. I got an A on the paper. But was never explained the truth. I now understand it. Actually I think it was Moses.
