The bible is bullshit.
When the government has as big as a monopoly going, there is forsure going to be a very high number of people unhappy with what they do on a daily basis because in all honesty those people were thrown into this shit hole with no escape. When the government controls what we see on the tv, what we hear on the radio what we do every single day people are going to want a second to clear there mind and just be a natural being. We are slaves, we are slaves every single day unless you can figure out how to escape the rat race, or find something already lined up that they have created that you like to do. I don’t know everything and im not going to pretend like I do but that is my opinion and I am strong believer of that of what I have said.
The Quran
One suggestion is Islam and the Quran … Sufis (Sunnis who specifically focus more on the practice self rectification of the soul through chanting Allah's name) is one area to look into
