Talking out his ass! Lobbyist represent big$ which dictates influence, and in most cases law. (90% of what congress votes for has very little to do with the people of this country. It has everything to do with Lobbyist, who represent in most cases large corporations and big money that enables them to dictate their agenda. The people dont have the luxury of having a lobbyist represent them.And that is what makes it a unfair playing field period!
Lobbying used to be illegal, remember that. But big money changed all that ironically so.
well he is right, right? the current lobbyist are the symptom of the corrupt system, not the problem of it.
Sure they are a problem, heck even a huge problem, however they are not the cause of it, the corrupt bought politicians are the problem (we used to hang people for bribery back in the day, now it's just legal… how low the system have fallen…)
IT'S NOT A DEMOCRACY!!! Why are we listening to someone who does not even understand the foundations of our government. Read the federalist and anti-federalist papers to understand the arguments of how the government is supposed to operate, then talk to people about how our government does it wrong.
