Tony whatever the fuck..Has to be one of the biggest douche bags ever! What is worse he brings out an even bigger douch in Joe. I could do without him and his annoying voice. Get a real comedian on like Louie or Anthony Jeselnik
Sure, only a small subset of cops do the actions of killing people unjustifiably (by the normal person's standards of course as the cops pretty much always feel it is justified). But, even more of them are involved in beating the shit out of people who are already handcuffed, dogpiled, etc. so that they aren't a threat but the cops still beat on them. Even more cops, almost all and maybe even all of them, are involved in the more common place practice of lying on police reports, especially to help fellow cops, robbing people, violating their rights by searching/detaining them illegally, preventing them from using first amendment rights by blocking cameras or arresting people for recording, etc. etc. etc.
And more to the point, even for the more egregious murders, assaults that often leave their victims paralyzed or in need of medical attention and sometimes even plastic surgery, the vast majority of cops still defend those other cops with their thin blue line gang mentality as well as the "don't rat on your fellow cops" mentally that far too many have.
I believe that most people who are upset at the cops and the justice system by extension because of the types of things described above aren't upset that cops do them. You are going to have bad apples in any group. It is the fact that they are essentially above the law. That they get away with it so consistently. It is like the Catholic church pedophilia thing. Sure people are understandably upset about the person doing it, but the anger and disgust towards the institution for it came from the protection given.
