There is no bridging the gap cause the right are stubbornly ignorant simpletons. They deny facts because it hurts their feelings.
I'm still waiting for the definite evidence that Trump did something wrong. You simply cannot make the comparison to what is happening now to what happened with Watergate. Watergate was cut and dry ordered by the president of the United States to have his political opponents wiretapped and spied on. Today I'm still not sure what is being brought against Trump. I'm guessing there isn't much cause if there was I feel the evidence would be brought in front of the public in an instant. To me it feels like this so called master tactician's plan is to draw out this investigation until the election where it will be shouted from the roof tops as a reason for Trump to not be re-elected. If someone would bring evidence of Trump's wrong doing I'd greatly appreciate it I wouldn't want someone like that in office, but until then I'm not going to call for his resignation.
Lessig presents himself as a non-partisan, public intellectually, yet is intellectually dishonest in laying the entire blame for "the system's faults" at the feet of conservatives. He conveniently forgets to mention any of the leftist big money in politics. He purports to be in favor of markets, but they decries the advent of conservative news outlets and talking heads in the face of a vastly biased liberal media. What's more, Lessig seemingly has forgot that our country is a REPUBLIC and he seeks to destroy it with his "slow Democracy" malarkey. Simply, Lessig is a partisan hack.
Joe says that during the election he would flip back and forth between the two networks and get complete opposite views. You can do the same today. Turn on CNN and you will hear nothing but Trump/Russia election collusion, yet the deeper they dig it keeps coming up that the Democrats were colluding to throw the election. This guy talks about this being the "Watergate of our time" and he is exactly right but completely missing the point. We had a sitting, lame duck President spying on the President elect based on fraudulent FISA warrants payed for by the losing Presidential candidate, supposedly based on the allegations of Russians that no one substantiated. This should be way bigger than Watergate but asshats like this guy and the rest of the media keep trying to turn it back on the President instead of following the story to where it leads. Fucking insane man.
