I just watch first time 3 hours long podcast. This interview was amazing and did not bored me for a minute.
They really think we wouldn’t figure it out of course we are now get out of the way!
I just wanna know what the 8700 haters that watched this think happened? These guys are spot on!!
But where ever humans went, the environment did degrade withem, and I think as the population grew bigger and more food was needed, the impact of hunting and grazing land was getting 3 times as big.
There are environments that would have been very prone to degeneration by fire via hunting and grazing livestock, they are called brittle environments (like most of north Africa and the middle east), and just over 10 years with fire would have taken these place from paradise to sand dues and done immense damage. We did not and never has understood how to manage ecosystems in these brittle environments in a way that will actually regenerate them. This is knowledge I've obtained by listing to Allan Savory, a very underestimated man.
