ok we can now be done with the oxford dictionary.
fascism is neither left nor right. the word is derived from a symbol called the fasces, which is an axe with a bunch of sticks tied around the handle.
the idea being that individuality is sacrificed for the community.
i don't see how that favours either side of the right-left dichotomy.
personally i would define it simply as one person or group of people forcing their way of thinking on another person or group of people.
