  1. I am currently uncover as a homeless person in Portland. I have been recording all kinds of stuff and have a deal worked out for some investigative reporting. Since, the cops dont know me they talk to me like a fool and the same with other people. It's time to Borat the liberals its even more fun. but not funny. they really dont have good senses of humor.

    The OCD Repairman

The homeless problem in Portland reminds me of what happens when you bite your fingernails. You often leave it worse than before and now you got blood, pain, then scabs. And the fingernails are baaaaack!
Maybe you can't stand your fingernails or maybe you just have a nasty habit. Maybe it's the little pieces of skin you can feel with your fingertips that just annoy you so much you have to bite off even though you know it's smarter to forget that idea and just get some damn finger nail clippers

This is a homeless problem paradox I call the "The OCD Repairman." How can you hire a repairman if he has OCD? You have too. How else would you find out? But do you want to pay someone to complete work that might take 40 times as long to complete because he had to turn every faucet on 50 times before and after he installs it? No, you just called a repairman to fix a problem. It's hard to fathom the repair is going to need a repair soon right? Not really. There is no homeless MacGuyer. Just a bunch of tweakers at all hours who try to fix working items by breaking them and tossing the garbage on the sidewalk. Then all of them argue who fucked it up. Portland baby!!!

Now, real homelessness is a lot like OCD, a REAL mental illness. You wind up homeless and want to get out. That can be beaten without medication. I know I was born with OCD because my mom never told me to clean my room or make my bed. Portland's version of mental Illness is mostly just addictions mixing with emotions and shame and creating a person who doesn't even love themselves. There is quote from the movie called "Into The Wild" Matthew is talking to Rainy. And sees Jane walking off and Rainy looking dejected. Matthew sensing discontent…well long story short, she's sad because she has a son who looks just like Matthew and they don't talk anymore. She also prolly feels bad because Matthew is a loved kid and chooses to be destitute. So then he says this beautiful quote. "Sometimes people feel like they don't deserve love, so they often wander off into quiet places, trying to close the gaps of the past." A lot like Good Will Hunting, being smart doesn't make you wise. Because he couldn't ever actually know that at 24. But his favorite Writers did.

We are dealing with an issue in allowing policy inefficiency affect any kind of actual stopping of the bleeding. When you are throwing more money at a problem. There are only two possible outcomes. It is only getting worse as you throw more money at the issue because that money is being used for ignorance or greed. Or it gets worse because more people are there using the resources who shouldn't have access to the resources

Otherwise that's all you have to figure out. One paradox before anything else becomes anything more than bubble gum on a water leak.

So now where do we start? I would start 30 years ago. A lot of people I talk to always talk about how much it's changed. Well why? Unaffordable housing? Nope. Low Wages? Nope. Mental Illness and Addiction issues. Nope.

The internet is why this problem happened. As soon as you could Google "best place to be homeless?" Portland was in trouble.

So over the years I am sure tons of programs and ideas have been created that really helped during their hayday. They just wont work now. So I apologize if that isn't the focus of my report. The programs we have available now, their effectiveness, and financing are the ones I have observed and seen fail and succeed for what that version of success is. Now I am going to give you all real perspective.

If you want to help with the problem we have now, you need to have to be homeless right now or have been homeless within the last 5 years to understand what it truly feels like out here. To be able to ingest all the facts, stories, opinions, and experiences in my head to use now is amazing and what it takes to understand the problem. Now I just so happen to be an expert at fixing any kind of problems. So that makes me esoteric in truth. You need to have love in your heart and compassion for human beings. You also better be an observant person, have real experiences, absorb real knowledge, and try to extract as much value out of this situation you can get out of it without losing yourself, not the person you were before homelessness, but who you are right now, it can get worse. Then you run risk of getting what is called, institutionalized. On top of all this remember you are in a dangerous unpredictable situation. Be careful. Blend in. As I always say, be a chameleon first and then you get to be the predator.

  2. Started out slow but got interesting soonish. Not sure why so many people are talking shit, maybe they tuned out after 10 minutes or maybe JRE is being overrun by Muslims. Worth a watch.

  3. I laughed soo much the other night because people say joe is a douche and is dumb but have only listened to a little bit of one podcast of him being silly with a friend and people ripped them a huge bloody second asshole. It was awesome!
