First of all, he's still an "adjunct" professor after all these years? No wonder he is so jealous of tenured faculty. And it is actually pretty easy to get rid of tenured faculty… Just reorganize the department and change titles. For researchers you just take away their research spaces or their offices. Tenure is really much more boring than he makes it seem and not a golden ticket at all.
