It's amazing how all of the things we used to use to criticize the Soviet Union, like lack of free speech, thinking for yourself, propaganda by the media, etc are now things we've wholeheartedly adopted.
So if a corporation does it, it's not oppression? Maybe the fact that these companies are monopolies is a more urgent issue for society than naughty words. Just fact that we're even talking about "sloppy use of words" means we've already lost our liberty.
