Science is only a discussion. Its a mistake to go at it as truth. The religious folks go to a totally other place and think they have all the truth. They see god as truth, the only truth. My question has always been why can’t people accept the fact that they know nothing. Why must there be a complete explanation in order to move on. This thing about god being the answer is the cause of all the big acts of violence across the world. The frenzy of godliness gets people to do unspeakable acts because the.answer to all the unknowns wants certain humans to direct other humans to kill. How bad is that. And we will keep on killing each other until we accept that not knowing is fine. We do not need a leader who no one has ever seen who knows all and is responsible for every single thing. How ridiculous are we humans. How can smart people be truly religious. They can’t be. Its an act for the sake of satisfying that need to belong, which comes with the added bonus of answering all the questions we need answered. I mean the heaven, hell. Paradise thing. Oh boy if I pray a lot I will end up in paradise. That’s a relief. Now I can be happy. I can do all kinds of terrrible things and all I have to do is pray. Give me a break. The world will continue to be a shitty place until we stop playing these games and start taking care of each other. We can actually take care of everyone on the planet and still live comfortably and have fun. All we have to do is decide to stop playing stupid games and admit what we really think. I say that most of the people who follow religions do not believe in any of it. Most christians for example who go to church are not good people who follow the teachings of Christ and try to,be like Christ. They just play a game. Listen to the politicians who come across as church going folks. They live decadent lives while they talk about god. Come on. How can we have a good world inhabited by and run by extreme hypocrites.
