The 3x the lethal dose part is a BIG dispute because Heroin and ALL opiates do not have a CEILING dose. There is no MAXIMUM dose not in medicinal use even. Maximum dose of an opiate is based on a persons tolerance. Period. I had a Dr. at a rehab say I was a liar because I said I was shooting up 32mg of Dilaudid at a time 4-8x a day and if I didn't have any of my Dilaudid RX I would use 1/2 gram shots of heroin at a time and function and work still. He obviously didn't understand opiates do not have any maximum dose it is based on personal tolerance. Yes it took me 10 years of every day IV use to get the tolerance I had but someone with Kurt's income with a heroin habit is going to have a MASSIVE tolerance. I am glad I left the life behind.
Where to a Dr. 2-4mg of Dilaudid is a huge dose for someone who's arm was just cut off. It is called TOLERANCE. So I have no doubt Kurt could easily have a heroin tolerance that would look like 3x what any human could handle because I have been there. But I still think Courtney offed him. But saying the amount of heroin in his system would make it impossible is preposterous.
