It's a really dangerous precedent to start a movement that attacks people for being… intelligent. Where's the end game? We all end up hugging each other? Or, do really stupid people tend to murder and hate each other for petty reasons? I mean, isn't that the entire point of college that liberals have touted? That "education" is the cure for racism? And you basically want to blacklist people for being smart?
The problem with just bibliometric data is that it does not account for possible incumbent cultural factors hindering women's work performance in the field, resulting in lower citations.
Having said that, that guy should not get any stick for it, he's just trying to be objective.
