The final boss won't be a man, it will be a empire/system. From Rev 17 we know that the 7 heads are the 7 past world empires (the whore sits on 7 mountains, commonly used for empires in the bible) and the 7 kings are the rulering body of said kingdoms (since Rev 13 says one of the heads will suffer a "mortal wound", meaning one of the past empires, not some dude in the future. Also, the 8th (the beast from the earth) will also be an empire/system because he is "one of the 7". Again, not some dude.
