I hope joe covers YouTube Christian channels using him to sell views. These guys funnel their followers to joes show that not Christian so they get views for monitory compensation buy adding their name to his in the algorithm. I feel worse feeling r the fans who don’t get how they been used off their beliefs

I am NO fan of Joel Osteen, but let's look at the facts; why does he have such massive wealth in the first place? Because so many Americans believe in the shit he preaches, and are happy to pay money to show it (i.e. by attending his “mega churches” etc.), that's why. And why do they believe it? Because the “education” system in America is completely broken, and is allowing disturbing numbers of young adults to leave school with a belief in imaginary beings and ancient fairy tales. If kids were leaving school after a PROPER education, and simply didn't believe in such infantile rubbish, then people like Osteen would have no attraction for them. All Osteen is doing, is capitalising on an opportunity…an opportunity created by the government itself, since they are the ones controlling the curriculum! I honestly don't think that Osteen even believes in god; if he did, he wouldn't be doing the things he is. All he is, is a businessman, exploiting a huge marketing opportunity. Good luck to him, I say! So, instead of criticising Osteen and his antics (and others like him), if you want someone to blame, you should look at the government and the so-called education system of your country. If I got rich by walking along country lanes, picking up bags of money scattered here and there, who do you blame? Me, or the people who left the bags, because they thought that, by doing so, they'd secure their place in “heaven”? No wonder America is the subject of so much ridicule and derision…it's a mess, in so many ways!
