Joe, you are on the pathway to destruction. That thought process you displayed at the end… the "troll free environment" one is the worst possible path anyone who values free speech could ever make.
It's the current path twitter and several other big tech companies ARE taking right now, which is why they're constantly under attack by republican sources. In an effort to make a "troll free environment" they are effectively housing trolls and giving them a free pass to do whatever they want to normal people.
The only way to have a true "Troll Free Environment" is to have an environment without any rules. Why? Because trolls require input. And tools make acquiring input easier. As such, the more freedom users have and the less tools trolls have, the healthier the environment.
Things like "ignore" and "friend" are additionally tools, which we have seen abused like crazy from trolls. Hell, go look up any of the twitter lists. 90% of them are racial/political ignore lists. Either way, no matter how you slice it, giving them MORE power never works. People never seem to learn that lesson though. Cali "Nerds" are stupid.

The best thing i ever done was deleting my fb 7 years ago . Concentrate on your own family and live your own life instead of looking in to others 👍
It used to be the news just gave you the information and you made your own decisions….now the news tells you what to believe without giving you the information.
