I know this is gonna be a popular idea around here, but this is not left. These are upperclass kids trying to mold academia acting as consumers. It may seem weird for Americans because the truth is that you guys don't really have a left, what you guys have is the lib right and the conservative right. That's why these people were so hostile to Bernie Sanders, he did not represent their upperclass values. I really recommend you guys read the essay "Exiting the Vampire Castle" by the late Mark Fisher. It's short and to the point.
Ironic, don't you think, a gray-haired left-winger is judging young people's commiefascist tattletale and generally immature tendencies. Well WHO RAISED these children? Why does society take notice of the young once they are adolescent or have come into adulthood? And then start pointing out the mess the youth are? Maybe they shouldn't have been tossed in third party care as infants, toddlers and entrusted to school staff to be raised as young children while their parents had "better" things to do.
