I'm mixed, visually Mexican, but I was raised by my white mother, so my perspective on this is that I have been more often ostracized and outcasted because of my "white" behaviors than I ever have been for being brown.
I think the change in definition came from white people trying to claim beint victims of racism and trying to justify their own. While they may experience SOME racism at a low level. Its not comparable to the SYSTEMIC RACISM they implement on others. and somehow that got twisted into a change in definition. EVERYTHING is because of white supremacy. Just look at this lgbt madness.
