  1. Thanks for taking your time to discuss this and I plan to give it a try!! I've sat in this cold water pool at the gym a few times, couldn't stay in it very long but could really perceive it was doing something healthy!! It doesn't seem like there are any negative side effects so sounds good to try! Unlike a surgery or drugs that conventional medicine mainly puts their focus on! Thanks again! You guys are great to be talking about things like this!!

  2. Rhonda (our i should say dr. Patrick 🙂 ),

First off i would like to thank you for all your extremly intresting and valuable content/ videos.

through these i have learn so much about hormesis and the complex biological mechanismes in our body one word amazing!

My passion for food, nutrition and health has honestly being reignited thank you!

I have a question about Norepinephrine which you maybe shed some light on for me. regarding this video (on hyporthermic conditioning or cold shock therapy) in this video you mention dat cold shocking the body spikes the production of Norepinephrine which is a vasoconstictor and has a series of amazing health benefits regarding fatburning, the brain, focus and mood.

In your video on hyperthermic conditioning you also mention that hyperthermic conditioning also spikes the production of Norepinephrine (through the increase in dynorphine) and in this video you mention that Norepinephrine has a vasodilating (vosa dilator) effect.

sorry for the whole intro my 2 fold question is this 1: do both hyperthermic conditioning and cold shock therapy both increase the production (and storage) of Norepinephrine ?

and 2: Is Norepinephrine a vaso dilator or a vaso constrictor?

    thanks in advance

keep up this amazing work love al your content! (would love a video devoted to the health benefits of meditation, resveratrol, and/or anticythines)

    Cheers
