I think the stories in the Ballad of Buster Scruggs have a common theme. It is philosophical. Every story is about death. Someone dies in each story. The circumstances and the context of the persons dying provides a new lesson. Whether we are on top of our game, we will die and possibly be out done by someone better. We may escape death but only to fav e death in a different set of circumstances. There are those who are put to get us and try to take us down but either we die or they die and in the long run we both die. We are all riding a stage coach of death. We are all on a journey that takes us to the same end. The question is, are we just like ferrets or are we more? Is there something beyond or is it just dark silence and nothing?
They’re connected
My dads side of the family is greatly western, they work on western movies for Netflix, such as the harder they fall, and yours truly, buster scruggs. They supply horses and wagons for them to rent. So anyways why I’m saying this is my grandfather in law has the same exact wagon that was used for the one where the guy with no amens or legs segment. Its in a garage or shed or how you call it, I will send a picture of it on my channel when I go over to his place.
I actually love this movie! It's strange but I still enjoyed watching it.
