How should we view the book of Genesis? It is the foundation of the Holy Bible. Is it literal or figurative poetry? Starting at 21:36 Mr. Michael Rood states the following: "When you don't understand figures of speech, when you never spent time with 1100 pages that are readily available in any community, Baker Bible Book House still publishes this, if you don't want to take the time to do it then you have no qualifications to really speak about these things in the bible!" Really?! Does that not sound familiar? Remember how the religious authorities during Messiah's time ridiculed Him and His disciples? – And the Jews marveled, saying, "How does this Man know letters, having never studied?" Yahushuah answered them and said, "My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. "If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from Elohim or whether I speak on My own authority.
(Joh 7:15-17) – Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Yahushuah. (Act 4:13) I wasn't aware that the understanding of God's Word required any special training! I was under the impression that God Himself was our Teacher!- "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. "He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. (Joh 16:13-14)
I found Rob Skiba's content right after he passed, and I cannot put into words how sad I am about that. Oh I wish I could have asked him some questions. He has SO much stuff to go through I'm overwhelmed but I am so enjoying this series so far. That said, that Rood guy sounds absolutely ridiculous … the ground is dry, the ground is thirsty. Same friggin thing dude! What?? I also used to think Anderson was ok if not a little crazy, but if he is attacking his fellow brethren over this … he could have had debates cordially but alas, he's definitely not the person I thought he was. Anyway, Rob I know you are with the Father now … but I sure wish He would have given us more time with you 🙁
