This is Joe’s way of being another voice to put this out there. Chuck probably heard it more dramatic ways leading up to and after the fight. To hear it so neutrally from Joe the way Joe speaks, maybe it will stop him from shaving another year off of his life. As Joe said, if fighting is what he wants to do, maybe what gives him a quality of life, than so be it. But it is the point of like, when you watched him fight, it appears to be seriously taking the toll that… hmm, no human being can really spring back (health wise) from doing that stuff at that age. Movies glamour it up, but that shit at his age can seriously injure or kill you. Hoping the man does what’s best for himself and his family.
I hope, for his sake, that Chuck never fights again. That fight was hard to watch.
