As a western Australian, I was talking about Australia with a bunch of Americans at a poker table in Vegas on our holiday, and their perception was “fuck that, too many poisonous things over there, it’s dangerous” and I basically said the same thing as Adam here.
America has bears that’ll eat you while you scream, wildcats that’ll rip you to pieces, we have fuckall to worry about really. Maybe a big red kangaroo, yeah those muscly jacked ones, could fuck you up but it’s as rare as dogs balls. See fuckall snakes and spiders. Crocs, dingoes and Roos are really the only concerns.
