The exposing of horrible situations like not selling land based on race or different sentences for the same crime WITH SIMILAR CRIMINAL HISTORIES are exactly what needs to happen to affect change because nearly all people will agree and support that.
What we DON'T need us some white liberal getting a job in Chicago as police chief who not only didn't stop corruption when he saw it, HE PARTICIPATED IN IT. Wtf would we want someone like that in charge. It's not good for white people or black people. What's NEVER brought up is culture in different racial tensions. If change is going to happen, it starts there.
Laws should reflect the type of society we are striving to have. And that's really where we are at an impasse. Different cultures are all fighting for power. How they speak to one another; how they treat one another… should be a barometer of which is better for all of us to strive for. I'm fairly confident that riots, looting, murder, violent attacks, rape, hatred, oppression of others and their ideals…should not be our bill of Rights in this future society. If you think it is, you're the reason they added the second amendment.
