50k a year job out of college lmao that’s cute I don’t even make 30k
I've been paying off my loans for 9 years. Probably owed in the neighborhood of $25,000. The thing I didn't realize was the 6.8% interest rate? IS MONTHLY. My first year I paid about $2,000 into my loan and when I check how much I still owed it had only gone down by like $500. I was like "WTF?!" Turns out 6.8% interest on my loan for 12 months came out to about $1500. Buncha crooks. I'm down to about $4000 so I should be able to pay that off by this time next year. I'm gonna celebrate Christmas 2020 ya'll.
