in the us why would you build with wood in a dry area and keep dangerous species of trees all around the residential area, especially the rich mansions and villas, don't you have money for stone and concrete?. Then all the rivers are collected and no natural wet lands exist anymore, farming and people using all the water drying the air because the wild plants are not getting enough of it. huge cities covering the land funneling the water to the ocean without retaining it. Last year the dams were so full, it was almost a catastrophe and now the land and the air are dry as fuck, clearly the water and forest management is not what it should be in this region. Islands of wild wet lands should be created using the water network to act as a damper and improve the climate while creating natural fertile land for crops. maybe it could create moist corridors to protect urban are from big Forrest fires.
