Cant wait till the robots replace us all.
1000 bucks a month isn't much…..you would have to get a job, most people will spend the money….in turn money goes into the economy, and government gets money.
The current system is just not sustainable. Wealth inequality keeps increasing. The probelm is wages are not keeping up with inflation and have not been for decades. Thats not sustainable and thats why people have issue with our system. Are people going to just keep getting poorer to a point where no working family can afford a home ? The only people who will be able to afford a car,a home and education and healthcare will only be the rich who took risk ? Once consumers have no money there is no economy. We either need a ubi. A higher minimum wage that ties to inflation. Or we need some kind of fare profit sharing system. The people are not asking to be rich. We are asking to be able to live a decent life without stress. A life where when you get sick you dont become bankrupt. A life when your job gets automated away you dont live on the streets. Being able to buy the things we need or get a education without going into extreme debt. Automation also greatly increases productivity. There is no reason why wages cant keep up with the cost of living. No reason why working people have to become more and more frugal and keep downgrading there life style. Just because the richest keep wanting more and do not want to share the prosperity of this country.
I have respect for your thoughts
Baker is wrong, when people have money , they use it to create things like artists, hobbies … etc
