Lets ignore the fact that Milton Friedman, founder of economic conservatism, and 1,700 other economists did a massive study and found a UBI would do wonders to our economy. Tax the rich
Want/desire fuels advancement. Fewer people not less. Fewer with plurals and less with singular. Fewer people, dogs, ideas(pl). Less time, ability, hope(sing). To hear the error is grating. Be in command of your language.
There is no such thing as a perpetual motion machine. You always have to intervene with added force to keep the engine going… always.
UBI is no different. It’s a perpetual money machine, eventually you will run out of money
Millions of people like me busting our asses to survive with UBI would have the money to start their own businesses. With a little boost in income I could start my drone video business. I will get there eventually anyway but could've saved a few years with UBI. Right now people like me bust our asses to make CEO'S AND STOCKHOLDERS filthy rich!
People who work full-time jobs and can't afford food and shelter are not lazy. That is a failure of the system and needs to be fixed . Either housing cost needs to go down or pay needs to go up. People completely ignore any connection between pay and housing . Food and shelter are the most important basic needs , rents and housing costs are way too high for average incomes .
