It is very simple to me !
Only the One, Holy. Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Jesus upon the rock which is Peter and the apostles in union with him, has the authority to govern Christ Church. All others are bound by this, whether they like it or not. You take it, or leave it. Be careful that you don't start mucking around.

transfiguration: LISTEN TO HIM., meaning Jesus. Glory be to Jesus Christ ,our Glorious King.
The confession that Jesus is Lord is the Rock, not Peter. That's not an 'interpretation', it is fact taken from the original text. The RCC seeks whatever increases and maintains its own power on earth.
