Over weight is not healthy. Humans tend to find healthy people more attractive, male or female.

Probably because a woman’s appearance is significantly more weighted in overall social status and desirability score than a man’s. Men can get points for being rich, funny, etc., and women can too, it just doesn’t count as much.
