What totally misguided view of Australian politics, society, culture, and our economy. Australians are very aware of our close naughbours and the Chinese influences in our region and trust me we are also well aware that America does not have our backs when it comes to conflicts in or part of the world. We are not all descendants of criminals. Also, I think you will find most Australians are extremely well educated on world politics. Spending a week in only the major cities as most American tourists do, you will only get the jaded view and idea that all Australians live like they do in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. There is so much more to who we are as a nation, and you have completely missed it, and it only took you 10 minutes
Are they forgetting about the fact that Australia only had convicts sent over because America didn't have any room left for them.
