Ok – why are people shocked about insurance not paying… after 5 days the hospitals lose money so the insurance pressures them to kick you out. This is how it works now. Its greed and profit – no hospital is looking to care for you for weeks – doesn't happen anymore. They send the lackey "social worker" in to get you to a "rehab" facility – which is basically a nursing home. It has nothing to do with what insurance you have. Surprises me how little people understand about our health care system. They don't give a fuck. You have to file an appeal – buys you maybe 2-3 more days at most. God forbid you are elderly…. or have no one to advocate for you.

I used to drink every day and had high blood pressure. I got on kratom which made me not even want to drink anymore and now I'm off the high blood pressure meds. Thankfully Kratom is still legal here but seems like it's still on shakey ground.
