Theres no rubbish service in most of rural america. Just saying people having to drive their garbage up to communal dumps and dispose of it themselves.
Lol I grew up hearing howls every night and I've gotten close enough to pet far to many black bears. No I did not pet them, just that's how close i was.

I grew up on a farm and we butchered a cow a year. best beef you will ever taste! However, when you put 18 months of investment into an animal you know why the meat taste good and you feel accomplished for raising such a tasty animal. I never felt guilt for butchering a cow because I know that cow had an excellent life. maybe not as exciting as hunting, but 1000 times better than buying mystery meat from Walmart.
