  1. Wim Hof is great and all but his saying that he knows something to be true because he can feel it (or something similar to those lines) is a bit telling. He describes basic physiology in a complicated way and makes it sound like amazing groundbreaking stuff. Bringing the things he said at the beginning of the episode and connecting that with a real world example: of course it’s bad if you have copd and your acid base balance is messed up. Wim Hof breathing is good in the opposite way to how having copd and CO2 retention is bad. It creates alkalinity and reduces your CO2 in the first instance. But as you breath hold the co2 increases and this would increase cerebral blood flow (I hope I’m right here). So it’s actually fairly simple (now I’m not 100% sure how that ties into autoimmune diseases or brain chemistry, or nerve function, which is not so simple). Now there are some gems of wisdom in between all this stuff he says but it’s a little hard to follow. I think it was kind of good that Joe took a skeptical perspective.

  2. Rogan concentrating on push ups and fighting performance and doubting Wim when he’s on about improving kids and everybody else in the worlds life by tapping into the ability their bodies have to heal and use the primal instincts – check ur ego Joe
