It makes me crazy that alcohol is our legal drug and it kills people every day, and yet harmless plant-derived supplements like Kratom are in the crosshairs of the DEA.
Kratom helps a lot of people. And I think it should stay legal. But contrary to what Joe said here, Kratom does have a negative impact on the body: dehydration for one, and it can be addictive. But hey FOOD is addictive too. Twinkies are legal and addictive and cause poor health. Oh and I think Kratom causes Low T levels in men.
it has helped me more than marijuana, I have an opiate problem and it brings me peace of mind like dope would, without getting blasted and negative come down
Don't take capsules. They could be laced with clay fillers. Make your own size 00 empty gelatin capsules on Amazon, then Kratom powder from mitragaia dot com
The kratom community is deep in denial as a whole. It's a fantastic drug and better than any other opiate/opioid alternative but it's definitely got addiction potential… And if you're not experiencing chronic pain I would HIGHLY advise against it's daily use. This is coming from someone with a TON of kratom experience… Seriously. I know this drug in and out and it definitely is psychoactive and works on the exact same receptors as any other opiate (including heroin) but it has a far lower potential for abuse in that you can only increase your dose so high before you throw it up. It pisses me off when people go on shows and promote it to the public that isn't already on any opiate or opioids cuz a lot of people could find themselves hopelessly addicted to this drug if they started using it daily
