Dr. Peterson reminds me of a real-life "Professor Snape" from the Harry Potter story… he deeply understands Evil and how it works – and thus how to avoid and combat evil ideologies – but due to his serious, severe demeanor and controversial (but moral) things he's said and done, people think HE is one of the bad guys. But he's not. He's the guy you listen to to defeat the bad guys. He is – I don't want to say "pure good" as no mortal person is perfect – but he's very pure in his intent and the moral foundation he acts upon. It's only the naive, spiritually weak people – the types of people who are easily used by the real bad guys – who fail to see him for who he is.
P.S. I highly recommend watching his original filmed series of lectures from the course "Maps of Meaning" at University of Toronto. There is so much Signal in those lectures, so much insight in this course that it should be a "required" part of the "Internet University" curriculum
