How is that transphobic?? Anyways this movie is a classic and one of my all time favorite comedies!!
Let’s remember it’s a comedy and Ray Finkle wasn’t transgender – he criminally stole a dolphin, disguised himself as a woman and had a position of power in the police.

Funny how Joe calls himself a comedian, but doesnt understand jokes. This wasnt the only time he can't tell when people are joking.
It's not transphobic. The character wasn't trans. It was an elaborate disguise of a man stealing the identity of a woman. So it's not even a cased of kissing a "trans woman" it was just legit kissing a dude.
