Vinyl is lossless BY THE WAY.
I totally get it with the art and experience and planning he was talking about at 4:30. When '91's Metallica(Black Album) came out I bought it and was enjoying reading through the insert, listening, etc. It was a much more special experience back then.
The thing about concerts is…there's a risk. There's danger, and it pays off. Some dude could steal your wallet, or that sweaty dude could spill his beer on you! It's involved, and you invest your time and energy to go there, and when the show is awesome, it pays off that much more for all the effort and risk you took just to be there
On Napster at that time, searching Metallica yielded no results, however searching for "metallisuck" would provide you with their whole discography. What a time.
Jesus. 18:34 giving me flashbacks to those Aussie anti-piracy ads from the start of movies. "Would you steal a car? Would steal a handbag? Would you steal a tv?" Mannnn. The memories.
