  1. I miss CD shopping! Could go downtown and shop and talk to staff and hear shit they were jazzed up by or find something they didnt know was in the store. And you knew artists were being paid for the cover art and engineering and manufacturing etc. All positive and all gone

  2. It's not just the Napster thing. These guys went from " we will never sell out and do radio or MTV" (and they were amazingly successful despite not getting airplay) to the guys who started cranking out the cookie cutter rehash just like aerosmith. Ever since Cliff died, it seems like it just became a business. I'll still listen to everything up to the black album but after that it just doesnt sound sincere to me. And why should they care, theres always a new batch of 15 year olds it all sounds new to and at the end of the day theyre rich af and seem to enjoy it. Good for them but meh, ill pass.

  3. ok Napster was a issue for metallica. I understand that he was right now but at the time i hated it. But now good artists dont make shit compared to you guys. Soo lars was right in the end. but bring it .
