Allowing others to work for you on the sabbath seems wrong. It would be a contribution and reinforcement of their sin. Would you drive a friend to a bar with the intention of allowing him to drink?
The earth supposedly spins at 1,000, mph a rapid stoppage and start would undoubtedly cause major havoc as the contents of the earth would still he in motion while the earth stopped so either the bible is untrue or the earth IS “fixed and immovable” as the bible states

If the true sabbath chronology lost during the Babylonian captivity, Jesus would have been corrected it while he was on earth. The bible says that Jesus kept the sabbath holy, which means the sabbath chronology was correct during his time. Also we have present day Jewish people and the ancient writings to prove the accuracy of the sabbath without doubt.
Doug Bachelor, I was very disappointed with your answer to this gentleman that called in regards to the Sabbath. Apparently he is a Seventh-Day Adventist and his question to you was, is it okay to ask one of his fellow co-workers to work on the Sabbath for him because apparently he did not want to break the Sabbath. You said no there's nothing wrong with asking someone to work on that day for you so you can keep your Sabbath. Shame on you!! We are to be an example of the truth and that's what God wants from us not to compromise he talks about that. This man that did not want to break the Sabbath but was willing to ask someone to break it because they did not keep the Sabbath is not ok. Instead of suggesting to this gentleman if he has faith in God to go talk to his boss and explain the situation don't you think that God is powerful enough that his boss will work with him?? Instead this man is going to have somebody break the Sabbath because either they don't believe in it or they don't know about the Sabbath. We are supposed to be spreading the truth this man now is asking his coworker to break the Sabbath instead of sharing sabbath truth with him and you said that was okay. I pray there's a way you can fix this because if not you will be accountable to our Lord. Becoming a pastor does not entitle you to break God's word!
