Eternal universe is scary? What was always there is God. That’s very hard to grasp, a Being that has no beginning, or end, Who by His own definition is “Love”? How incomprehensible is that? A God that is so Almighty, that He calls each star by its name (Psalm 147)? And yet is in every particle in this universe. Whoa! Is this true? Is He available? Can I know Him? Absolutely, this is the reason you were created…first, last, and always, to know Him.
The eternal universe just makes more sense regardless of how the Big Bang worked.
this is the second time i hear Brian Cox say there are TWO TRILLION GALAXIES in the universe, which is actually not correct. Not even close. Actually it is only 5-10% of that (100-200 billion). Love to hear him talk anyway. But since that i double check what he says:)
